Hello I’m getting video from gallery with intent, save it’s

uri in realm, creating thumbnail with:

requireContext().contentResolver.loadThumbnail(uri, Size(256, 256), null)

showing it and everything is ok

closing app, reopening it, getting uri from realm, trying create a thumbnail and getting

java.lang.SecurityException: Permission Denial: opening provider com.android.providers.media.MediaDocumentsProvider from ProcessRecord{3a6acf2 3458:ru.leroymerlin.questionnaire/u0a377} (pid=3458, uid=10377) requires that you obtain access using ACTION_OPEN_DOCUMENT or related APIs

what am I doing wrong? Why I’m having access to file in first case and doesn’t when reopen app?
