people used to develop android apps witg eclipse back in the day . but i don't know if that is still a viable option. (look it up)

intellij idea is basically android studio without the android specific tools so it would require the same requirements i think .

good to know , i never seen anyone use it since 2015 . now i know why i guess . but yes vscode is great 👍

I particularly already heard of other people that the Play Store rejecting some apps not built by Android Studio. Google about it for more detail.
