Oh sorry didn't read the question carefully..you wan't to calculate

total of each item(checkbox) in viewholder rather than each viewholder( thought as checkbox) in adapter ?
and do you wan't the total into your activity/fragment ? or only when use click's ?
and why not using recycleview to populate the childs in this case checkbox ?
