Can anyone help me to make a simple thing for

better understanding of android service ?

1. open main activity. will start a service.
2. it will be a foreground service.
3. this service will show a counter. which will increment by 1 on every second. and it will run forever, Until i force close the app.

That's it.

i tried, but even with foreground service , counter stops after 4 -5 min.
