But why add a library if you just want to

add a header image to ur main acticity or something simillar?
Sure if you have a lot of images to deal with library is the obvious choice, as I have used picasso in my applications before. But for 1 or 2 static images, I really rather to keep it library free.

Of course in the case of the question I answered I assumed she just have a few images and not much cause I had no context.
