What if i burned twrp img to unrooted phone with

adb commands. Or with heimdall??
Im just wondering. To root my phone i need to flash supersu and no-verity-opt-encrypt using twrp. That means i need to burn twrp img to unrooted phone at first.
Or maybe i just didn't get the princip behind rooting.

if you burn the image it will smell bad and it will be gone
