Hi for a MMORPG game how many dedicative server (software

server) is needed?
1000 ? or more?

my computer just opens 30 dedicative server instance.
is there a trick to increase this number ?
i want host many players

i calculate i need 1,100 pc like my pc. to host 1M client. In the best case

this number is for default unreal thirdperson project

You should've mentioned it's UE.... And even there I don't think there is a rule

For an MMORPG mostly it's around 20-100 high power servers... if it's a small sized server population.

Though Servers means a node, the node itself doesn't need to be a singular computing unit
