If I have an app that provide software as a

service cars parts management system, should I create a database for each cars parts store so they can save,edit,search,delete data or just one database that contain all stores data?
For example, if I have 8000 stores(customers) which way is better? Faster?

At my old job which also dealt with multiple location car part shops, we had different databases for each company, and each company could have multiple locations. So each company shared parts data for the different locations. This was useful because it's nice for one location to know about the parts in a sister store so they can do a transfer. But this was how the business was for us. I have no insight as to what is technically better though. As I'm not smart enough to provide you that 😁
