DEL to browser only? Like any console code or anything?
I've already asked but didn't get any solution 😭🥺
CTRL + ALT + DEL is a key combination which is intercepted by Windows itself. It is not forwarded to any programs, so you cannot react to it, even in native applications. This is the reason why you on some computers must press CTRL + ALT + DEL to get to the login prompt. As no program can possibly see that key combo, you know for sure that the login prompt is the real one, as Windows itself is the only thing which could have reacted to it. It cannot be malware showing you a fake login to steal your password
So this is impossible to press Ctrl alt del only for browser?
The Ctrl+Alt+Del sequence (a.k.a. Secure Attention Sequence) can only be "heard" by the Windows kernel. Therefore, to disable or otherwise change how Windows responds to the SAS requires kernel-level privileges, which code running in the browser does not have.
So is there any option to turn off windows listening to CTRL ALT DEL? Means if I press that keys windows should not do anything.
i have a feeling your users don't want you disabling their native functionality
I am using windows on a windows web browser... But just to turn on or just to press Ctrl alt del I have to do open my linux machine :(
Means?
i dont get your problem
Precisely what I'm saying
Hmm I don't know how to explain it properly
