Hi very noob question, after deploying war file on aws

or any server can it be edited like we edit other project files(like for javascript etc..) through ssh?

When deployed it gets unpacked. It may be unpacked either to disk or in memory. Either way, if you are about to edit messages.properties with text for your jsp/jsf it won't work. App should be specifically designed for that purpose, most probably get dynamic html page content from DB or any other dynamic resource
