When I branched off on VScode Terminal, git branch There is only

one * main wth asterisk next to it.

And when I do,

git branch littlefeature
git checkout littlefeature

the bottom blue bar at the left of my VScode still shows main..?

The asterisk is usually "the branch you are on"

It takes a little bit of seconds to see the change.

I think I’m spending on how to deal with GitHub, Terminal commands and NPM way more than learning about JavaScript.

For Terminal simply, as long as you don’t go sudo, there’s nothing to be worreid about Terminal, right?

You can remove your home directory without sudo
