per each my RAMs (two RAMs and I have ran memtest86 per each of them) and I want to use memtest86 for both of my RAMs but when I try that memtest86 freezes at test#2 58%
I tried to set top limit to 4096m and it worked
But when I tried to set low limit to 4097m (and top limit to the actual top limit) it stopped at test#2 18%
I want to test the two RAMs in the same time to black list the bytes
What can I do?
Your RAM is toast, buy new RAM or RMA current one if it is still under warranty.
🥲easy to you to say "buy new RAM"
Any help guys?
Use some of your HD as RAM. It'll be slower and wear off your HD faster, but since your problem is not software-related, there's no way out other than a miracle
except buying RAM🥲
there is a way to do I have read about it and it is possible (BadRam and memory black list) but since I can't use memtest86 on my both RAMs I can't figure out which bytes are in error
It'll take forever to analyse all the bytes, and an eternity to isolate them Even if you succeed in doing so, even though you'll probably spend a good amount of money having your machine switched on, more bad sections will appear soon enough. What are you going to do when the time comes? Will you repeat the process over and over? Those sections didn't just become bad out of the blue. They're a sign of a dying RAM, just like aging: does making plastic surgery solves the problem that comes with aging or does it just cover the symptoms as the problem aggravates?
that was mind changing😐 thank you a lot man I will give up on my RAM and try to buy a new PC or RAM soon enough
you can always try to buy the RAM 2nd hand (will be cheaper) and hope it will last you untill you can get a new PC
it is the time to buy a new pc my pc is for almost 10 years
I mean, most 10 year old PCs will run fine with a bit more ram and an SSD. Which is cheaper and better than buying a new cheap pc
My problem is I have to carry a laptop to my university So I can use pc anymore and I wanted to fix it without any changes But I failed...
