Question

Firefox from the website (tarball of regular Firefox and Developer

Edition) doesn't read any local fonts, and defaults monospace to a sans font (I don't know why it does this, it defaults to DejaVu Sans instead of DejaVu Sans Mono).

I understand the first part is a security feature to prevent local fonts from being fingerprinted, but I'd like to disable it entirely. I've tried the common about:config answers on the Internet, nothing seems to get my fonts back. It's been a few months like this.

Anyone faced a similar issue and found a solution?

Fonts were messed up for Firefox dev that I installed from their website, they got fixed by changing fonts in settings but I still don't know how to fix the icons or glyps that are missing.
