repos but the version was old so i just downloaded the last portable version from telegram website
at first it starts without any problem but then i get this error:
./Telegram” terminated by signal SIGSEGV (Address boundary error)
any idea about this?
Use a new profile folder
Did you remove the repo version before installation of the snap version?
i did that after the installation and open the app
Remove both, including the '.telegram' folder in your home directory and then install again
the snap version works like a charm there are no problem now
Except for the fact you're now running snap
not exactly after the installation i stopped and masked the snap package sudo systemctl stop snapd sudo systemctl mask snapd
You're still reliant on a garbage proprietary app store for updates though
i don't install any apps from there except if i cant find the specific pkg from other sources
