So I was trying to run a ftp server on

my android and access the files from my (linux) pc on the same network, but apparently it is not able to connect to that local ip. do I need to configure anything on the router?

Most router enables AP isolation. It makes the devices connected to the AP not able to talk to other devices in the network, except with the router

probably thats the case, it's a MiWifi 3c, I cant ping any other hosts on the network other than the router
