What about Ubuntu and Fedora?
You now have the list of every mainstream Linux distribution. What did you get from it?
ReactOS
They good too
First I installed Ubuntu as the most suitable distro for desktop users but later I found it's a bit buggy and unstable. It is the most suitable for desktop users only because its highly clickable GUI not for its hardware compatiblity etc. Then I tested Fedora as another distro mostly used in desktops but later I found it is not a desktop suitable distro. Now I am confused.
Lol That is just gnome
why it is not a desktop suitable?
Define buggy and unstable
Not sure but this made me confused about Fedora(Which I am currently using). The second answer, I think it's right.
what is the issue with the Quora post?
Touchpad not working. Graphics not working. Bugs appear just after installation. etc.
never have that kind of issue before. all my hardware is working out of the box after installation
Read the second answer which have explained why Fedora is not good for a desktop user.
which answer? from Chris Bailey?
from his name tag, looks like he is Ubuntu hard core fan, so he might tell everything is good with Ubuntu and everything is bad with Fedora
his only point is that fedora has wayland and ubuntu has optimised builds for different types of device
