Manjaro OS gnome edition. File transfer to USB freezes in the end and it takes so long for it to finish one file and start with the second. The write speed is initially around 70 Mbps but it constantly drops to as low as 2 Mbps and sometimes less. Googling showed that this problem has been there for many years and some solutions suggest adding something to the sysctl.conf but there's no such file. Can anyone help?
I don't think you mean Mbps and your flash drive is probably just bad.
