move to the Linux (idk which one distro yet), how can I bring my data too? I mean I have a lot of data and ik NTFS is not ex4. So my external drive will be formated in correct Linux file system. Is there any options how to transfer from win to Linux? Thanks In Advance!
Hi, you don't need to format your external HD: Linux can read data off an NTFS filesystem. Just plug it in and enjoy. You might need to install some FS driver, depending on the distro
Tnx man. Ok I will try this. Hope it will not showe only one option: format your drive
It won't. I think "format your drive" is what Win or Mac suggest 😄
