Why is it so tough to choose a router 😅 I

won't be buying a gigabit connection so gigabit boxes out
wifi6?? no new stuff is supporting it yet,
Also no more than 5 users at max at my home on the wifi
Don't plan to build a NAS in a year or two
>Striving to buy a box supporting opwnWRT
>ISP is cool with any router, they charge for the modem anyways (ftth)

tldr; need recommendations for things to look out for before buying a budget router
(i'll check openWrt support anyways)

tplinks wrt1xxx are cheap, have gigabit and support openwrt
