of course first need to add mysql 8.0 repository on apt-get command wget -c https://repo.mysql.com//mysql-apt-config_0.8.13-1_all.deb after downloaded install it: sudo dpkg -i mysql-apt-config_0.8.13-1_all.deb After do it update repository apt update && apt-get install mysql-server
