Okay, by that logic, one shouldn't buy Lenovo laptops in

the first place? Remeber when they had superfish installed on their laptops ?

People had MiM attacks enabled by default on their laptops. Let's not buy lenovo, motorola or thinkpad ever again

If you're asking whether I keep a grudge against Ubuntu regardless of what they're doing then my answer is no. I am more than happy to recommend it to users when they stop making stupid decisions and ship a solid OS. But until then I will discourage people using it because it is insecure by design.

By that logic you should not buy a Lenovo laptop that has superfish installed on it. But if you buy one of the later models hat doesn't have it then you can buy it.
