But, does anyone know how to make a computer inside a local network discoverable by a domain name, without a static ip address assigned to it?
P.s: - we have a wifi access point which routes the whole LAN traffic.
- we cannot alter the dns configuration of the router so that we can statically introduce a local dns server(its ip) to the router.
- all the machines inside the network get their ip from DHCP so we don't have any static ip.
Thanks for your help :)
Can use multicast DNS
