or in the whole configuration language? There's a need for standardization but I wouldn't want to either replace the projects I intend to support (which I don't consider myself competent for, nor with enough spare time to do) nor would I want to be "just another abstraction layer to deal with". Right now anyway in the backend I'm writing simple scripts that try to be environment-agnostic and expose as much of their functions as they can, especially when they log in to other nodes (a quiet function to make those programs shut up will be implemented as well)... But yeah. Looking for feedback 😅
IMO if you are going to develop management / configuration / provision you might as well use your time better and profit from the existing tools that already have thousands of man hour put into that. Now, if those tools really don't cover your use case, then by all means go nuts.
