definitely be something to keep in mind, and something I've noticed as well. For example, I'd already need to contact the Debian team to see whether commercial redistribution using their repositories would be legal, and whether it aligns with their vision. I'd definitely like to keep my options open regarding this, and while Red Hat's software is not something I'm familiar with right now (I've used CentOS 6 once on a mail server and pretty quickly replaced it with Ubuntu Server), it is most certainly a server-grade distribution. I'm drawn towards Debian but this is still under consideration. Are there any particular things you'd recommend as do's and don't's when communicating with them?
You dont need to contact them to know that commercial selling of their software is not okay.
