I'M trying to install Micro text editor on Ubuntu following

this tutorial and I'm finding it difficult trying to run $ ./micro. It says no such file or directory even though it is there. Any solution?

maybe look in the directory and see what the binary is named and/or where it's placed

wget https://github.com/zyedidia/micro/releases/download/v1.4.0/micro-1.4.0-linux64.tar.gz tar xf micro-1.4.0-linux64.tar.gz cd micro-1.4.0 ./micro Not too hard, doesn't even involve building - but out of repo installation is generally not a very good idea
