GB USB drive. I have formatted it as a GPT drive with NTFS. If I unplug the device, Ubuntu can't mount it anymore (NTFS is either inconsistent or there is a hardware fault...) I can't even mount it on Android.
This problem never occurs on Windows. I can mount, unmount, unplug do anything and it works fine on Windows, but not on Ubuntu.
Is this a hardware fault??
Why gpt if I may ask
I have tried formatting a number of times on GParted and KDE partition manager
define unplug
