it fires up the linux kernel. The problem is that I'm trying to install Arch Linux and I'm on a command line env. There is some pcie bus error that always comes up and i'm unable to type anything properly on the shell. In order to remove that I need to add "pci=nomsi" in the grub config file present in /etc/default/grub and add the nomsi parameter there and run a command called grub-update. Apparently, arch linux has no command like that when u r running it on a live cd. So how can I edit and apply the grub configuration while using a live cd?
