Ubuntu 16.04, after some last update, can't connect to new

wifi. (Wifi systems are showed, but there's no dialog prompt to enter password for authentication and connect to the network).
I also tried going to network tab settings of a particular connection, but all the inputs are disabled.

The only workaround I've found so far is to go to "Connect to a hidden wifi network" and then connect from there by manually entering essid of the network and passphrase.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

nmcli radio wifi off && sleep 5 && nmcli radio wifi on After executing this, restart your system!
