No offense but do you understand what page tables are

used for? tho an interesting question does it matter?

The theory is that PAE is a hack that makes it possible to use more than ~3gigs of RAM (if they exist), but in practice many 32bit comps have a chipset (or something) that limits the max usable RAM to that much or lower, right?
