a try on a more stable Distro, and I choose Debian.
It may look weird, because Debian focus is to be Universal and Stable.
But there some things that I need to have on my Distro do work that are avaliable oly on Debian sid and testing.
Is a good pratice to add sid and testing repos on Debian Stable?
Theres any way to make Debian use sid and testeing repo for just some apps?
Any other ideas or recomendations?
no, you should not add testing/sid repos. add the "backports" repository, and if that doesn't have what you need, look for third-party repositories or compile the programs from source (most programs can be compiled in three steps: ./configure && make && sudo make install)
