things quicker. but how many new bugs are being introduced ?
Um...they don't necessarily fix vulns/bug quicker, other distros cherry pick fixes for those and don't wait for new releases
They ain't always fixing things quicker.
And that's why they break things, pushing updates quickly, without a deep and long testing of the updated package and its impact on its other dependencies. With Debian the package maintainers decided that stable is the repo of the extreme stable packages, and then comes testing repo, it's also stable (I used it since year for production) and its updated, but always for critical environments stay with stable.
