You guys have ever noticed gnu/linux is slower while copying

large files?
it works fine with too many files but small ones.
or it's just a feeling I've got?

hi man, you mean copying 1 big file is slower than copying some smaller portions of the same size in total?

Maybe there's a filesystem which would be bstter suited fot handling large files?
