That shouldn't, cuz, then how do you explain downloading multiple

small objects of a file rather than downloading the whole file at once?

downloading is different... in case of downloading - smaller portions mean more connections... and it doesn't consume hardware resources directly... you can test it move a 500mb file then split it to 500 portions and move them all back...
