Hey guys, I need to buy a laptop just for

my work so I have some questions:

1- Are mid-range laptops with core i5 cpu and 6 or 8 Gb ram good and smooth enough for linux? Linux is faster than win 10 right?

2- What are the best distros for linux? Why?

3- Can I install xcode or sketch app on linux? (They are for macOS)

in reverse order: 3) no you can't they are for osx only 2) install gen^W I mean, it really depends on your faveour and what would you actually fo with your laptop 1) make sure it's not very "new" I mean, I saw problems with the latest core i7 processor laptops because their cpu is being "too new" for linux... they don't have support yet or something
