c# question, but given we’re all .NET developer you might relate with my current situation. The pc I have at work is a good machine, fast, and can handle multiple SSMS/VS instances without any problems. At home instead I have two old pc, a Win7 desktop that was a nice computer back in 2009 when I bought it, and a mediocre laptop I had as a gift a couple years ago, it was SO SLOW already at the first powering on that I had to wipe it and put an Ubuntu distro (I’m not very familiar with Linux, but at least now it’s usable). Now, I’d like to work on some website as personal project but I can’t really use Visual studio at home. What kind of language do you think might be closer to asp.net mvc that doesn’t need a behemoth application like visual studio to work with?
You can still dev website in .net core with visual studio code
