get certificate? From verisign? or 3rd party? should i purchase or should i create by own?

The certificate used really depends on which system you will interact with. If you developer is the one controlling the whole system from client to server you can use a self signed certificate. But if the app is communication with an unknown system which requires certificate authentication you have to buy one which is revoked by a known certificate authority ( CA )
