Beautifulsoup works on static pages and Selenium works for almost

all the cases except when the sites restrict login through automated browsers. I was scraping something from Salesforce (shhh..don't tell them 😋) but couldn't make the browser think that it's from a trusted device. I had to do the OTP input everytime.

Any of the other tools mentioned have good session/cookie handling?

I was hired to write automated tests against a Salesforce instance and used selenium and beautiful soup. Authentication was part of the testing, so it can be a feature, not an issue.
