how long would it theoretically and realistically take me to achieve that.
i don't have anything advance i even think the unreal ready controllers are enough for my purposes for this game.
is it reasonable to say it would take less than 160 hours to finish a prototype or a project like i explained ?
A prototype can be done in a couple days for someone who knows what they're doing, maybe two weeks is a fair estimate?
my point is i'm new to game development
The biggest problem with starting gamedev is managing expectations (trying to make something big). All the rest is just time and motivation. In other words, it depends on what you're trying to do. We made an FPS prototype in a week working part time, unreal is really nice for fps mechanics.
