For Polygon zkEVM it improves discoverability of Dapps in their ecosystem and improved censorship resistant, as well as truly embracing a fully decentralized stack. For us at NEAR it probably means increased # of txs when pushing changes to the frontend code that is stored on the NEAR blockchain as well as paving the way for bigger plans that may involve a NEAR tx to interact with other chains :)
