Don'T you guys think package managers are the biggest contributors

to most Javascript problems?

Because I do. If developers had to manage dependencies by hand, I think we would have so many transitive dependencies .

It would be a bit safer world.

Why don't you just start?

yeah, I could. but it is not fun anyway if I am the only one suffering. Also will have 0.000000 infinity impact on derived benefits. However if done by a collective, that's a whole new level.
