What exactly are you trying to achieve

I have a signed apk that I generated. which uses SEND_SMS permission. after building and sending it to friends, it looks like its being flagged play-protect and I don't know what to do

the problem is, they said they are not going to publish it to playstore, and they are assuming its my problem. I don't know how I am going to explain to the uneducated client

Tell them google does this for every app not on the playstore, they assume the offensive by banning it before hand as it probably won't comply with their terms. Android is Google, very hard to separate the two. However google provides a way to unmark your app as harmful by letting them know, that you are not going to be distributing through their channels

I tried. I told them, even samsung got the flag. but I guess I am going to send them debug apk 🤷‍♂️
