? I am not able to understand you ?
Install a sane distribution
I want linux distro which updates half-yearly or yearly basis. What do you recommend? Previously I have experience with Arch Linux and various debian derivative.
That doesn't exist
No, I am sane.
What I was trying to convey was like every two years a new LTS of ubuntu released, in same way a distro whose new version is released half-yearly or yearly basis.
Update != Release
Install Arch and pop a champagne for a new "release" on its birthday every year?
Okay, I was confused about the use of both words.
Update < Release
There were instances on my pc when it did not booted after kernel update so I downgrade the kernel, I think I am not knowledge-able enough about running Arch Linux.
Then run Debian or Fedora
You had an issue, correctly deduced the problematic component and downgraded it to work around it, what's missing? Other than diagnosing the logs and making a bug report.
Yeah, problem were when I was not able to diagnose the issue..
What did you try?
It was few months ago, i don't remember much, just that system use to freeze when using usb tethering. I tried to read logs. But since that time I had to finish my project urgently , so i just installed kubuntu.
