Hi there. i've got an issue. i have a microphone,

right? i'm putting its plug into the socket, but i don't see it in pavucontrol. it seems that problem is that the socket for sound I/O devices is the only one, so it's rather output socket than input. what can i do?

Most modern laptop now only have 1 socket, and the socket type is same like mobile phone. Microphone and speaker (headset) in the same port
