with 3 hosts: one laptop, one server and one printer. From the server (192.168.0.204) I can reach the printer (192.168.0.9) but from the laptop (192.168.0.186) I can't reach the printer. ping from laptop to printer has 100% packet loss while it has 0% packet loss from server to printer. No entries in /etc/hosts, no routes with iptables -L. To notice: from laptop I can reach the server. What could be the issue?
Does printer visible for your phone for ex? Are there any fw settings on the printer?
Nope, can access it from the server
Hi guys, do you have any advice about this issue? Don't know what else to try
Try swapping their IPs and see if they can still ping the printer.
Eventually I fixed it by restarting the router. I would like to change this router and one more configurable. What would you suggest?
Show ip --color a ip --color r From both laptop and server
Anything you can decently flash OpenWRT on, or Mikrotik if you don't mind proprietary.
Do you use OpenWRT? How do you find it?
Search engine?
Lovely
