let me detail it quickly : i use dual boot windows and fedora , wifi works on windows but not fedora , in the current time i have tried to update drivers etc but nothing happens . however when set fedora to be the primary boot option in bios setup the wifi works on fedora , today i have reached the same problem without blaming the primary boot option , do u have any idea what the problem could be now ?
the drivers are well updated and works fine , i'm wondering if according to ur knowledge you know of a dell latitude firmware version which is more stable
or it is someting else , appreciate
Secure boot maybe
Try with a different kernel version
sure i will do that
disable fast boot, windows does not necessarily turn off the device just leaves the device in a state it knows, when Linux then tries to access the device it's not in a known state so the drivers just leave the device as is
yo thanks for the answer again , is their any way to reset the device status from fedora without having to disable fast boot in windows ?
