have downloaded Telegram from Telegram website and then installed it on my Linux which is Debian KDE
Now the problem is I can't make it work with the "Use system proxy settings"
I use Nekoray on the system to set the system proxy to the config that I choose in Nekoray
But it seems that Telegram doesn't care about this and doesn't use the proxy settings I have set in Nekoray and therefore it doesn't connect
Any solutions?
Have you tried disable the proxy from the Telegram settings?
Yeah I have tried that as well but it doesn't work
What about explicitly setting the proxy in Telegram (custom proxy settings) to use the proxy you've configured.
That works of course but the problem is that I have to change these configs a lot of times since they are free and doesn't work anymore after a certain amount of time So this means that this way I have to change Telegram's proxy each time I change it on nekoray
As always by changing my VPN it worked
Maybe it was a problem with the vpn
Yeah VPNs like v2rayNG, Nekoray and others always have a lot of problems, at least for me
