of installing packages:
First we should look in the package manager and if we found it we will install it
Second if we didn't find the package in the package manager we should try looking for the source repository and add it to the apt sources
Third if we didn't find the source repository we should look for the .deb file of the software
And finally if we couldn't do any of this we should make it a package ourselves
Is it right?
Adding random repository is both risky and unreliable until the repository contains only the specific package for your exact distribution version
Yeah we should careful about it
So I finally reinstalled Debian and now I am trying to follow this to download packages firstly from apt and then if not possible download the .deb file and dpkg it Now I want to install Google Chrome because Chromium is so buggy on my system I don't know why But anyway I first searched it in pkgs.org and found out that there is something called google-chrome-stable and I can install but the problem here is that it's not on Debian's main repositories but in pkgs.org I saw that it's on Google's I searched but didn't understand how to add Google's repo to sources.list And I think that Google's repo is to be added to the sources.list right?
Also the same thing for telegram desktop because there is a package for telegram desktop in debian's main repository but it's really old
you should first learn the basics, as you're having a lot of difficulties in basic tasks like running a .run file or set your repositories avoid download softwares from thirdy part until you're ready to setup the things or you'll hang when issues arise
Damn Didn't think of this
