i think you did not understand what i mean. I dont want to bold all text of edit-text, I want set a only part of it to bold. check the image in post.

what is the specific part you want bold? what's the condition for that specific part? there is a library called rich text

create a new style in res/styles file and define ur properties there. then apply that style to ur edittext
