this , but my. Curiosity would rather make me ask the following .
Has anyone tried running android on raspberry pi ? I mean yeah most people must have.
But have anyone tried to setup any gsm modems like sim7600 to access the internet and the gps function on the same android system running on raspberry pi ?
I mean yeah I spent a good time on google, but couldn’t find some satisfactory answers, perhaps before I get my hands dirty in doing things practically, thought to might as well ask amongst 1695 members over here
Haven't tried myself, but RPi supports android and with all those GPIOs I don't see why it wouldn't be able to work with a GSM module. PS, I'm not sure if android (not android things) allows GPIO programming. This stackoverflow page tries to say yes. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/52332462/lineage-os-on-raspberry-pi-3-with-gsm-module
Yep have been through this. But the same question comes in, running snd accessing python or the gpios of rpi on the android os.
I thought I'd seen Android builds for rpi a while back, but then discontinued?
Android Things is discontinued
