I just found it was easier with the new imager software. You need only to enter the wifi ssid and pssswrod in the settings page of the imager and then enable SSH and/or VNC in the services page.

Yes, for that, you'll need to edit a file in the SD card. Check documentation on how to enable openssh or virtual desktop, and more importantly, passing wifi credentials in the card
